I really enjoy story telling! For me, this has taken the form of writing about others. You’ll find my own story in the About Marty page.

Over the years, I have had the good fortune to write a monthly “Reflections” column in 50PlusMarketPlaceNews. My topics vary as something catches my interest. It might be a person, place, thing, or, even all of the above.

I’ve had the opportunity to write about a variety of people and unusual aspects of their careers in the University of Colorado’s Coloradan, alumni magazine. Both samples of my “Reflections” columns and Coloradan profiles can be found on My works page.

While some publications, such as the Stampede or Women’s Edition, are no longer in print, I chose to include a few examples of those profiles. These range from donors to various sports to various area businesses. You’ll find these on My Works page.

My writings have taken an unusual turn in helping others after the loss of a family member. I’ve helped them by writing the obituaries where families tell that last story about their loved one.
